You will be picked up from your hotel in Alexandria by your expert guide, under the guidance of the exploration of the ancient Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqquafa . He thought of forming the largest Roman burial site in Egypt representing the mixture of Egyptian , Greek and Roman Art and Culture and was only dug up in the early 20th century when a donkey disappeared under the ground.
The next stop is the Pillier de Pompee , one of the largest Monolithic Granite Columns ever erected outside the Roman imperial cities. Stop for lunch at the sea view restaurant before heading to the Modern Library of Alexandria , the world's largest library with 8 million books. After lunch, visit the remains of the old library of Alexandria, the Roman Amphitheater and the Royal Gardens of the Royal Palace "El Montazah".
Continue to Fort Qaitbai, once considered one of the most important defensive bastions along the Mediterranean Sea coast. It was erected on the exact site of the famous lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue along the Corniche to see the entire city passing by the Stanley Bridge landmark of modern Alexandria, then return to your hotel.
